Parent issue resolution process

At Legal Prep, we believe that you should know everything that is going on with your student’s development at school. We want to hear your voices and share our thoughts and plans to ensure your student’s success at Legal Prep. We expect our teachers, advisors, and administrators to be in regular communication regarding the development of your student.  Still, we understand that questions and concerns may arise regarding your student’s academic performance, social-emotional development, interactions with other students or staff, or a Legal Prep policy or decision.

You should always feel free to reach out directly to any Legal Prep staff member with your questions or concerns. However, we recommend that you contact your student’s advisor or classroom teacher first with any questions or concerns about your child’s education.  Contact information is provided at Family Orientation and is available through PowerSchool.

You should expect a return call within 48 hours (excluding weekends and holidays).  In cases of emergency, please contact Principal Joseph Williams, at [email protected] or 773-867-0854.

In the event the Advisor or Classroom Teacher is unable to address or resolve your concern, please contact Principal Joseph Williams, at [email protected] or 773-867-0854.

In the event the Principal is unable to address or resolve your concern, please contact Legal Prep CEO Samuel Finkelstein at [email protected] or 773-922-7802.

If your concern is not resolved at the school level or you would like to bring your concern to the Legal Prep Board of Directors, contact information for Legal Prep Board Members, including the Parent Representative can be found at https://www.legalprep.org/board-of-directors.html.

If your questions or concerns are not adequately resolved by school leadership or the Legal Prep Board, please contact the Office of Innovation and Incubation (I&I) at 773-553-1530.
