Become a mentor

Mentors in our Gold-Star Certified program work with an individual student on a monthly basis throughout the course of the school year and potentially through several school years.

Legal Prep program staff provides content and topics for for mentor pairs centered around college and career readiness

Pairs meet in person at the Chicago Bar Association Building from 4 - 6 pm on the following Thursdays:
  • October 5
  • November 2
  • December 7
  • January 18
  • February 15
  • March 7
  • April 18

​We are recruiting mentors for the 2023-2024 school year.   
Mentoring provides a great opportunity to influence the life of a high school student and to serve as a role model for youth on the west side of Chicago. Our students highly respect and value their relationships with their mentors. Not only will you be able to impact the life of a young person, they will surely impact your life as well! ​​
