INCOMING 9TH GRADE STUDENT REGISTRATION INFORMATION FOR 2024-2025 SCHOOL YEAR
Registration takes place at Legal Prep on the following dates and times:
- Registration is currently taking place Mondays through Fridays from 9 am until 2 pm. Note that the office will be closed on June 19 and the week of July 1-5.
- The Student Registration Fee is payable with cash, credit/debit or Money Order/certified check (student registration fees are non-refundable and personal checks are not accepted).
The Student Registration Fee covers your student’s:
1. Technology Fee – every student gets access to a Chromebook during school
2. Enrichment/Activity Fee – covers most extracurricular activities
3. Books – covers all student books for the year
4. School Supplies – binder, paper, pens, pencils, and other required supplies
5. 1 Uniform Polo Shirt and 1 Uniform Crew Sweatshirt
6. Full Gym Uniform

Required Registration Documentation/Information
PLEASE bring the following documents with you when registering your student:
1. Proof of age
Documents can include, but are not limited to, any ONE of the documents listed below:
2. Proof of current address
Documents can include, but are not limited to, any TWO of the documents listed below:
3. Parent/Guardian’s driver’s license or state-issued ID card and certified proof of guardianship if not the
biological parent.
4. State of Illinois Health Examination form and immunization record.
5. Dental Examination form.
6. Transfer students will need to provide a copy of previous high school transcripts.
7. SNAP, TANF, or DHS recipient number for the student, if applicable.
PLEASE bring the following documents with you when registering your student:

- Child’s Passport
- Child’s state ID card
2. Proof of current address
Documents can include, but are not limited to, any TWO of the documents listed below:
- Current utility bill
- IL driver’s license or ID card (with current address)
- Deed or lease
- Court documents
- Illinois Department of Public Aid Card
- Stamped US Post Office change of address form
- Illinois state aid check/social security check
3. Parent/Guardian’s driver’s license or state-issued ID card and certified proof of guardianship if not the
biological parent.
