Legal Prep is a 501(c)(3) non-profit Public Charter School. This means we are governed by both the Chicago Public Schools and an independent Board of Directors.

We also have a variety of other individuals and organizations that support Legal Prep.

Board Of Directors

​The Legal Prep Board of Directors is the governing body of the organization and has the fiduciary responsibility to set the school's strategic direction, ensure its fiscal health, confirm compliance with its regulatory obligations, and act as a key driver in all fundraising efforts.

Advisory Board

Legal Prep’s Advisory Board provides strategic guidance to the school development processes and initiatives, assists in school governance alongside the Board of Directors, and expands Legal Prep's support network.  Advisory Board members brings their own unique strengths to these projects.​

Associate Board

The Legal Prep Associate Board is made of a group of young professionals who support Legal Prep's mentoring and law programs and who engage other professionals in the overall development of the school through fundraising events and volunteerism. ​
