community service

All Legal Prep students are required to complete community service hours during their tenure at Legal Prep. These hours prepare students to be stewards not only for their personal growth but also for the growth of their communities. Examples of past Community Service Opportunities include:
  • ​Visits to Springfield to advocate for education issues
  • Community clean-up projects
  • Volunteering for the Chicago Marathon and Shamrock Shuffle
  • Work at  The Chicago Food Depository
  • Packing boxes of food with Feed My Starving Children
  • Working with local Churches in daycare or summer programs​
